Description:
The Alcatraz Backpacker Hostel is situated in the Prenzlauer
Berg quarter in the former eastern part of town. The
wall that divided East and West used to be quite close
to our hostel. A "wall-park" is all that is left now,
reminding us of the time of "division". Today life pulsates
at "Prenzlauer Berg", loved by residents and travellers
alike for its shopping, leisure activities, clubs, cafes,
bars, discos and of course restaurants.
Service:
The hostel was colourfully decorated by local graffiti
artists. We are available around the clock. Free of
charge for children until the age of 4 years in the
parents room, and 50 % discount for children between
the age of 5 to 14.
